quick takes on the T-Wolves and the Wild

Nic Batum is coming to town...................... It is about time the Wolves listened to me................. If the Timberwolves can sign him, he would be the perfect addition to this team..................Get it done Kahn..............Does a Frenchman count as a white guy in David Kahn's mind???? I hope so because the Wolves need him........Greg Stiemsma is also in town to be wooed by the grand master Kahn............Great, another big white guy stiff.........just what the Wolves need if they amnesty Darko.........I guess he would balance out the Frenchman, if he signed
.........The Wild sign Zenon Konopka and Torrey Mitchell.................These are exactly the type of gritty players the Wild need...........Both players can kill penalties.............Konopka, is a fighter; who also wins 59% of his faceoffs.......He will be a crowd favorite.............Neither, Zach Parise or Ryan Suter have made a decision on who they will sign with in free-agency...........The Wild are reportedly still in on both players.........Personally, I think Suter winds up in Detroit, and Parise signs with Pittsburgh............But there is still a chance the Wild could get one of them or both.............Look for the Wild to acquire a big name player through a trade, if they strikeout with both Parise, and Suter...............I think that player will be Bobby Ryan of the Anaheim Ducks.......In the long run he may be a better fit for the Wild then Parise............Because he will be cheaper, and is younger........The Wild, by acquiring two more forwards, now have the depth to make a trade..........Look for Clutterbuck, or Setoguchi to be the main piece the Wild sends out in any big trade.......................Minnesota still needs a defenseman.......Hopefully they can get Matt Carle, if they don't get Suter..............With all the money being thrown at average players today, the NHL better get a new labor agreement in place before another lockout happens in September.......The owners can't cry poor when average players are getting more than $4mil per year (PA Parenteau,etc)........Joe Mauer makes the All-Star team..............Josh Willingham deserved to go............But the AL team needed another catcher..............Which is why Mauer is on the squad over Willingham............It's all about balancing the roster.................By the way, who cares about the MLB All-Star game????? I don't understand why anyone is getting worked up over this.......................
