NFL 2012 Preview-Part 4- Top 12 Fantasy QB's This Season

Top 12 Fantasy QB's this season-

12. Matt Schaub-  Schaub, has the privilege of being able to throw the ball to WR Andre Johnson. When these guys are both healthy, they make for a lethal combo. Without Johnson, Schaub is an average NFL QB

11. Peyton Manning- No doubt, Peyton would be higher on this list, if he were completely healthy. There is no doubting his talent. And he will have good wideouts to throw to in Denver. But is his neck 100%?

10. Ben- With the Steelers now employing former Cardinals offensive coordinator and Chiefs head-coach, Todd Haley, as their offensive coordinator, look for Pittsburgh to pass the ball more. This could be a career year for Ben.

9. Tony Romo- Romo, is a great fantasy QB. He always puts up good numbers. Plus, his team likes to pass the football a lot.Which is imperative, to being a good fantasy QB.

8. Eli Manning- Eli is beginning to become a great fantasy QB. The Giants threw the ball more last season, which allowed Eli to put up career best numbers. Look for that to continue this season, as the Giants have a lot of talent at the wide receiver position. And Eli is in his prime.

7. Mike Vick- If Vick can stay healthy, he could win your fantasy league by himself. The only reason he is not higher on this list- he is injury prone. There is not a more athletic, exciting, or fun to watch player in the league.

6. Matt Stafford- Stafford, blossomed last season. His passing ability led the Lions to the playoffs for the first time in 12 years. It doesn't hurt Stafford's value that the Lions are a very pass happy football team. Throwing, to Calvin Johnson, doesn't hurt Stafford's value either. All of these things make Stafford a solid bet to have another superb season.

5. Drew Brees- The only reason Brees is not ranked higher-no one knows what to expect from this offense because of head coach/play-caller, Sean Payton's absence. Rest assured, Brees, will still put up big numbers. But will they match last seasons record breaking numbers?

4. Phillip Rivers-This is a gut call. Rivers, had a subpar season last year. I think he bounces back with an MVP caliber season this year. He throws the best deep ball in the NFL. And the Chargers love to chuck it down field on play action passes.

3. Tom Brady- Brady, is a sure bet to have another great season. Especially, now that he has a deep threat on his team again.(Brandon Lloyd) Brady is one of the best QB's of all-time. And he is still in his prime. You can't go wrong with him on you fantasy team.

2. Aaron Rodgers- Rodgers, is a dual threat. Not only does he pass for a ton of yards and touchdowns; he also is the teams leading rusher most games. Obviously, that is extremely valuable in fantasy football. He is worthy of being the number one fantasy pick this season.

1. Cam Newton- Newton is the ultimate dual-threat QB. He broke the NFL record for most rushing touchdowns by a QB last year- as a rookie. The kid can also chuck the ball down the field with the best of them. He has all the tools you look for in a franchise QB. And he should be even better this season.
