Vikings Thoughts-
Adrian Peterson is practicing with the Vikings again.............This guy is a beast.........He tore two ligaments in his knee just 8 months ago.............And he is already back.............Filthy........
He should gain a lot of confidence running against the Vikings defense, as they looked pathetic against the 49ers in their first exhibition game........How do you allow a 78 yard rushing Touchdown to the 49ers backup QB????? On that play the defensive end, Reed, looked like he had never seen an option play before........He crashed the middle of the line................Which, in turn, left his gap wide open.......Just, pathetic football by him...........If I was coaching him, he would have been cut on the spot...........On that same play, Chris Cook, our supposed best cornerback, could not chase down the 49ers QB, because he took a terrible angle to the ballcarrier..............We also learned that safety, Mistral Raymond is afraid to tackle...............He literally turned around when Brandon Jacobs was running at him........Embarassing........On a positive note, QB, Christian Ponder played well..........He looked poised in the pocket..........And he made some nice throws............His receivers dropped three passes though....................Kyle Rudolph the Vikings tight-end is going to have a big year............He has great hands and can get open........

Twins thoughts:
The Twins are playing better baseball...........Starting Pitcher, Samuel Deduno has nasty stuff..........He should be in the starting rotation mix next season.........Justin Morneau is starting to look like his old self........He looks stronger..........And he is beginning to hit homeruns and drive in runs again...........After missing the past two seasons, you have to feel good for Morneau........If the Twins can acquire two top-notch starting pitchers, they might not be that bad next season............Sadly, this team is more likely to acquire three Jason Marquis.............Because they wont spend the money it costs to acquire top level pitching..............Ben Revere is the most fun Twins player to watch, since Torrii Hunter...................Anytime you can trade your most talented pitcher to your biggest rival for nothing, you absolutely have to do it......

T-Wolves thoughts:
The two Russian Wolves looked good in the Olympics..........Alexey Shved especially surprised me........He has some flair to his game...........And he is not afraid to take the big shot in close games...........Kirilenko, also looked good.........But he got dinged up during the tournament, which was always an issue when he played in the NBA, previously......... 

NHL thoughts: The current CBA expires in one month...........If the owners and players can not come to an agreement on a new CBA before that date, the owners will lockout the players............Again....... Today, the NHLPA gave their counter proposal to the owners............And by all accounts it was a fair one.........They even offered to take less money..........Which is encouraging...........Let's hope the two sides can work this out..........And no games are lost.............
