random thoughts

 Twins Thoughts:
The Minnesota Twins continue to lose baseball games at an alarming rate. This week it's the bullpen that can not get the job done....This team needs to trade away Liriano, Willingham, Span, Morneau, and anybody else on the team that will fetch prospects....The Twins are a good 3-4 years away from competing again.......Now is the time to bottom out and acquire prospects, who will hopefully blossom into integral parts of the next competitive Twins era............Bottoming out, will also allow young players, such as: Aaron Hicks, Joe Benson, and Chris Parmelee to play in the big leagues.....There is no better time than now to see if these guys can contribute at the major league level........What do the Twins have to lose? Besides more baseball games.



Wolves Thoughts:
Kahn strikes again......I like the move of trading Wes Johnson...........I don't like the move of throwing in a future first round pick along with him.......Kahn, has got to go at the end of the season..........He has blown so many picks/assests, during his tenure: Drafting Johnny Flynn over Steph Curry; Drafting Ty Lawson and then trading him on draft night; Drafting Wes Johnson over DeMarcus Cousins;  Signing Darko for four years; Signing Kevin Love to just a four year deal that Love can opt out of after the third year. I could go on, but I think I've made my point. On the flipside, this Wolves squad will be the whitest NBA team in years.....Which is sure to work...........One more Wolves note: Let's get Adam Morrison on the squad....He tore up the summer league and is looking for a team.....The Wolves and him are a perfect match.....The Wolves obviously love white guys.....Morrison can shoot, and the Wolves need shooters..........Get it done Kahn...........Side note: Morrison had his best NBA game against the Wolves at Target Center.....He couldn't miss in the second half leading his Bobcats to a come from behind victory...He had like 30 points........I remember this, because I was there....

Random Thoughts
Congrats to Adam Scott...........It was not an easy task, but you managed to overtake Jean Van De Velde for the biggest choke job in golf history........Bogeying the last four holes was an epic collapse.....Vikes training camp opens tomorrow...........How many arrests can they rack up in Mankato??? My money's on at least one........along with at least one DWI........... The NHL still doesn't have a labor deal............So, next season is in jeopardy...........Only in the NHL...........The league has it's best season in years in terms of ratings, hype, and quality...........and will most likely lock its players out before the next season can begin...........I can't wait for fantasy football to come back into my life.......It's been a long seven months without it..........The Olympics start Friday..........Who cares??? Blake Griffin got hurt the day after signing his contract extension with the Clippers..........Which is awesome on so many levels..........I can't stand him...........
